What a month August has been for team Quintex! We’ve had so much company news to share; the announcement of QFinance, being listed on Specifi, and our new Cheetah animation to name a few. Here’s August in a nutshell:
In case you missed our announcement, we launched QFinance this month; our own financing support options to assist our customers when choosing Quintex solutions. Our aim for QFinance is to give everyone the opportunity to purchase our solutions through a more affordable process, not only making things simple, but ensuring our customers see the benefits and savings from day one. It provides very little risk and enables our clients to keep on track with their energy saving and long term sustainability goals.

As market leaders in energy management technology within the commercial kitchen environment, we provide innovative energy saving solutions for major restaurants, pubs, hotels, supermarkets and leisure operators. Joining Specifi enables us to bring our range of energy saving systems to a wider market.

After sharing a rather retro video of how Cheetah works from way back in 2010, (see it on YouTube here) we also shared our new, modernised animation which we love! Cheetah saves energy by controlling the extract and air supply fans automatically to meet the specific needs of a kitchen, and has so far been installed in over 8000 sites and counting. Our new animation explains the entire process and just how it can benefit both new and existing kitchens.
In staff news, our lovely Operations Admin, Kate, has decided to say goodbye to the Quintex office but we welcome back Kayte from maternity leave. It’s been a pleasure having Kate in the office and she has been a real asset to the team. Here’s what she had to say:
“I would like to thank everyone at Quintex for the experience! It has been an absolute pleasure to work with such a great team. Leaving is extremely sad as I have enjoyed my time working with everyone & thoroughly enjoyed my role. I am now changing my career path, moving away from administration. Again, I would like to thank everyone at Quintex for all the help & support over the past 10 months.”
Good luck with everything you do in the future, Kate!
We’re always checking out recent news stories in the office and we love anything out of the ordinary. This one in particular grabbed our attention!
After the air-cooling system at the Lindt chocolate factory broke down, Switzerland was left covered in tiny bits of chocolate. The technical malfunction affected its production line for roasted ‘cocoa nibs’ and, thanks to strong winds, nearby areas received a gentle dusting of chocolate as a result. Not the worst Friday for the Swiss, but perhaps the factory workers thought otherwise!
We’re looking forward to seeing what September brings for both Quintex and the industry, and we’d like to thank everyone involved for making August such a great month for us!
